Cadillac Repair: level ride indicator, fleetwood brougham, brougham

Is there anyway to release the pressure to lower the back end on a 1984 Fleetwood Brougham d'elegance.

Answer
Above the rear axle you will see approx 4" square black box with a round multi-wire plug attached to it as well as a metal rod about 4 inches long attached to the axle.

Loosen the nut on the black box and adjust the lever UP a little and wait a couple of minutes and see if the back end lowers. If it goes higher move the lever DOWN and wait a couple of minutes to see if the back end comes down.
