Cadillac Repair: Service ride control, cadillac eldorado, cadillac dealer

I have a 93 Cadillac Eldorado, I just had the struts replaced and the suspension looked at thru a local cadillac dealer.I don't need to tell you it cost out the wazoo. Anyway they wanted to charge me an additional 75.00 to turn off the service ride control light when the reason I took it there is because it was on and to have it looked at. Is there a code I can use to turn this off since the problem was suppose to be fixed. Thanks Lisa

Hi Lisa, After charging you out the wazoo to replace the struts I can't believe they wanted you to pay to have the codes cleared too. There is a differant procedure depending upon what engine you have. Is it the northstar or 4.9liter? Once I know this then I can tell you the procedure. Bill
