Cadillac Repair: 96 Deville 4.6 northstar, temp guage, hood latch

Question
I had my ac recharged and now the blower does'nt work in any mode. The compressor is working. The outside temp guage was inacurrate and some time before recharge went to two dashes. I am showing code ac1311. If I replace the outside temp sensor and clear the code is there a chance Things will work? Obviously the temp sensor needs to be replaced but once I do how do I clear the code? Could my mechanic have done something wrong when he recharged the ac. Is it true that proximity of the plug wires to the blower module can cause problems, they are very close.
Thanks for your help.

Answer
Check the outside air temp wires that are located at the sensor that is located below the hood latch just aboy a few inches towards the passengers side behind the grill.
