Cadillac Repair: trouble starting car, cadillac sedan deville, car question

Question
QUESTION: 1994 cadillac sedan deville 4.9 75k

the problem is when i turn the key the car takes a while to start it sounds like its out of gas and i have to hold the key for a couple of seconds till the engine finally starts. sometimes it comes on right away and then turns right back off. this started happening about a week ago.

the water pump was replaced in may because it went out completely and one of the pulleys had to be replaced because it broke when the water pump went out.... The spark plugs, wires, motor oil, and oil filter were replaced about a month ago because the car did not pass the initial state inspection. After the repairs the car passed the inspection but now the car gets much less miles per gallon (used to get about 22-26 mpg, now i get about 12-15) and the cruise control went out. when i turn on the cruise control it says "cc engaged" but it never turns on.....

i would appreciate any kind of help you can give me. thanks.

Answer
OK, Let's check your computers for CODES.

1. Ignition switch ON, Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons on your climate control panel for 3 seconds and release them.

3. Codes will appear in the form of LETTERS and NUMBERS as an example ONLY PO40 or any other LETTER/NUMBER combination.

4. After EACH code displays on your fuel data panel the word CURRENT or HISTORY will appear.

5. The display will stop at PCM?

6. Turn OFF ignition key.

I need to know what codes appear and if the code is either a CURRENT or HISTORY code.
