Cadillac Repair: 91 Deville, ac system, ff11

Question
I am repairing a car for an elderly lady and get codes F11 and F47 and her Air Conditioner won't come on.  I have recharged the system and repaired a wire leading to the compressor (fusible link?).  What do the codes mean?

Answer
Are the codes displaying as FF11 and FF47 also ?.

If they are ONLY displaying as F codes this means that thjey are HISTORY codes and if they display as FF codes then they are CURRENT codes and what we need to diagnose is ONLY the CURRENT codes.

F11 = AC high side temp circuit problem.

F47 = Very LOW freon in the AC system.

Lets CLEAR (erase these codes and see which code or codes come back as FF codes.

1. Recheck your codes and when you see .7.0

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and HI buttons
until you see F.0.0 and then release the buttons.

3. turn OFF the ignition for 2 minutes and then recheck for codes and see if you get any codes and let me know what they are.
