QUESTION: THIS IS WHAT THE DATA PANEL SHOWS:
P071 HISTORY,NO ACP,NO SIR, NO TCS, SO61 HISTORY AND PCM?,
COULD YOU TELL ME WHAT THESE CODES MEAN AND HOW TO REPAIR THEM?
THANKS AGAIN

ANSWER: Since these are HISTORY codes you need to CLEAR them from the computer.

p071 = Intermittent MAP sensor.

S061 = Right front position sensor fault in the Road sensing Suspension.

PCM? = Just means that your at the end of the fault codes and you can enter into another section of the computer system of which you do not need to do so at this time.

To clear the 2 codes:

Repeat the sequence above until you see PCM?

Push and release the HI button and you will see PCM DATA?

Keep pushing and releasing the LO button until you see CLEAR PCM CODES?

Push and release the HI button and you will see PCM CODES CLEAR.

This clear the "P" codes.

Press and release the OFF button until you will see PCM?

To CLEAR the S061 code:

Push and release the LO button until you see IPC?

Push and release the HI button and you will see IPC DATA?

Keep pushing and releasing the LO button until you see CLEAR IPC CODES?

Push and release the HI button and you will see IPC CODES CLEAR.

This clear the "I" codes.

Turn ignition OFF.

Wait 2 minutes and drive the car for 15 minutes or re-check for codes via the OFF and WARMER buttons.
