Cadillac Repair: Turn off ignition electrical still on, fuse boxes, power relay

Hello. I have a 98 d'elegance northstar engine. When I turn off car and open door, the radio, wipers, etc. is still on. Have to disconnect battery or it is dead after 5 hrs. What could be the problem? Car only has 41,000 miles. Thanks

Hi,

You are going to have to find your owner's manual telling you where the fuse boxes are located. Once you do this, identify the retained power relay and remove it. The manual will tell you where the relay is located.

This will most likely fix your problem.
