Cadillac Repair: 98 Cadillac Seville Trouble Starting, cadillac seville sls, fuel pressure gage

Question
We recently purchased a '98 Cadillac Seville SLS and when I go to start it the motor cranks and cranks and cranks and then finally after a couple tries fires up but you can smell the build up raw fuel.  We have replaced the plugs, wires, and coil packs and I was wondering if you had any other suggestions before i spend more money to to self diagnose and fixing this car than i did to begin with.

Answer
Install a fuel pressure gage on the fuel line and as soon as you turn the ignition key to thje ON position WITHOUT trying to start the engine, You should have fuel pressure. Check it and let me know what the pressure is and if you get pressure when you ONLY turn the ignition to the ON position.
