Cadillac Repair: 89 Eldrado, control panel 1, chevy pickup

What kinnd of code reader do you reccomend as the local dealer and most local
shops will nit work on my vehicle. I am a good basic mechanic, I have an 89
chevy pickup with 250 m miles have used obd 1 reader to help diag. emissom
problems but caddy takes something different. Thanks for any suggestions Bill

You have diagnostic information on your climate control panel.


1. Engine OFF. Ignition ON.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons on the climate control panel for 3 sweconds and release them. Diagnostic codes will appaer and then stop at .7.0

3. Tell me what codes appear as if you were video taping them.

4. Turn ignition OFF.
