QUESTION: 1994 cadillas seville sls

Answer
Is the CODE P029 a CURRENT or HISTORY code as displayed with the code on the display ?. If you have the 4T80-E transmission the Transaxle "A" & "B" solenoids are on the lower valve body as you remove the bottom transmission pan.

You need to FIRST CLEAR (erase) the code from the computer and see if it returns.

NOTE: disconnecting the battery will NOT clear the code.

NOTE: if you have the 4T60-E transmission the solenoid is under the side cover behind the left front wheel.
