Cadillac Repair: cadillac dies, pickup coil, cadillac deville

i just bought a 1995 cadillac deville with 4.9. codes were p12,p13 po52. did  a right ox.sensor. it no longer has codes but every4 or 5 time i start it it dies. it had a pursuit remote on it but guy i bought it from disconnected or pulled fuse.  runs like a top when it does run but not when it doesn't

P012 = No distributor reference signal. Manipulate the the RED/BLACK and PURPLE/WHITE wires at the distributor when the engine is running and see if the engine stumbles or quits.

Check the pickup coil leads in the distributor and ohm them out as you manipulate the 2 wires going to the pickup coil. Ohm reading should be 800-1500 for the pickup coil.

P013 = Rear oxygen sensor not ready.

P052 = Battery was disconnected sometime in the past.

Recheck the computer for CODES.
