electric engine fan will not shut off even when car is shut off the vehicle is a 2000 cadillac catera

Answer
If the ONLY fan that is running is the larger fan on the inside of the radiator the fault could be:

Primary coolant temp switch located on the side of the radiator near the top of the radiator or the relay.

NOTE: MAKE sure that the radiator is FULL and the over flow jug is also at the full mark, FIRST.
