QUESTION: 2000 Honda Accord LX. The Blower and Compressor will turn off
after 10-15min of use. Seems to only happen when outside temp is above 80. If I turn the car off for half an hour or more the blower and compressor will work again, but the shut down after 10-15min of use. The Temp control module has been replaced with no effect to the problem. The car has 80,000 miles on it. I hope this info helps you to diagnose my problem

AnswerIf the AC cools well and compressor shuts off for a few minutes there is most likely an electrical problem , which needs to be diagnosed when compressor is not engaging when it should.
It could be a relay switch, thermostatic switch, a bad coil, poor wiring connection or too wide of a clutch gap.
