Honda: Accord V6 AC problem, accord v6, relay switch

Question
QUESTION: What would cause my ac to stop working after 5-10 min. Compressor stops and blower stops to. Only happens when outside temp is above 80. AC works fine durning winter and cooler weather.

ANSWER: Hi John,
I am not clear with the question you asked.

What do you mean by the AC stops? Does it mean it stops getting cold?
I do not know what year accord you are refering to since you did not post it. I need more information in order to answer your question such as year car, how many thousand miles, specific model/trim (ie LX,EX,).

QUESTION: 2000 Honda Accord LX. The Blower and Compressor will turn off
after 10-15min of use. Seems to only happen when outside temp is above 80. If I turn the car off for half an hour or more the blower and compressor will work again, but the shut down after 10-15min of use. The Temp control module has been replaced with no effect to the problem. The car has 80,000 miles on it. I hope this info helps you to diagnose my problem

Thank you for your time.

Answer
If the AC cools well and compressor shuts off for a few minutes there is most likely an electrical problem , which needs to be diagnosed when compressor is not engaging when it should.
It could be a relay switch, thermostatic switch, a bad coil, poor wiring connection or too wide of a clutch gap.
