The Service Engine Soon light came on the other day, i pulled the codes E40 and E90. How can i clear these codes?
ANSWER: Re-enter diagnostics and when you see .7.0, simultaneously push and hold the OFF and HI buttons until you see E.0.0. This will clear the "E" codes.
If they reappear see if the codes reappera as ..E 40 and or .E.E40 and the same for the other code.

QUESTION: The wife was driving the car on the highway and it stalled on her, she managed to pull over and restart the car but head straight to the shop. I wont be able to try your suggestion until we get the car back, but i really appreciate your help.
Would the code E040 have something to do with the car stalling? Or is it something else?
She also noticed the A/C died minutes before the car stalled.
AnswerE40 is a problem with the power steering pressure switch and could ONLY make the car stall when your making a SLOW turn at very low speeds and or at idle speed only.
If the car stalled out while she was driving it on the road this would be something else.
