QUESTION: The pressure came back as 12 PSI.
AnswerYour fuel pressure is correct.
Does the car act up when the gas tank is FULL or does it act up when the fuel is less than 1/4 full or near empty ?.
If it is OK when FULL and NOT OK when it is 1/4 or less the fuel pump is most likely getting hot and dropping the fuel pressure as the gas is used to cool the pump.
Put a longer hose on your fuel pressure gage and tape it to the outside of the windshield so you can observe it as your driving.
