Cadillac Repair: replacing transmission prssure control solenoid, upper valve, answer need

QUESTION: How much labor is involved in replacing this part, such as ease of the job and number of hours required to complete it? I have looked on line the part ranges from $35-$60.

ANSWER: Need YEAR, MODEL and transmission type. 4L60 or 4L80 ?.

Labor could run as high as $1500.00. The side cover of the transmission has to come off as the solenoid is on the upper valve body.

Some enterprising technicians can get the pressure switch changed without removing the transmission.

This part is vital to the transmission and will cause it to fail within a few weeks or months.
