RV Repair: d c converter, c converter, convertor

Question
When I plug in my shore line the convertor appears to work properly but it seems to cycle like it has a direct short. The lights get dim and the radio goes to all static. It continues to do this frequently.I have searched all connections and all appear to be clean. Thank You

    Try disconnecting your battery and see if that makes it stop.  I have had batteries with a shorted cell cause converters to do this.  If that doesn't do it try removing the fuses one at a time to see if you can narrow down which circuit is causing it.  If none of this leads to the source it may be a bad converter.  I hope this helps and good luck.
