QuestionI am seeing the following error "REFRIGERANT VERY LOW - COMPRESSOR IS OFF". I had a local mechanic charge the A/C with freon, but I am still receiving the same error. I followed your instructions from a previous question, and the following are the codes that appear:
NO PCM CODES
NO IPC CODES
CODE A047 CURRENT
NO SIR CODES
NO TCS CODES
CODE S036 HISTORY
CODE S044 HISTORY
PCM?
These are the messages in the exact order that they appear. What, if anything, can be done to reset the compressor? Thank you.
Answer1. Once you see PCM?
2. Push and release the LO(v) button twice and you will see ACP?
3. Push and release the HI(^) button and you will see ACP DATA?
4. Keep Pushing and releasing the LO button until you see ACP CLEAR CODES.
5. Push and release the HI button and you will see ACP CODES CLEAR.
6. Wait 3 seconds before turning off the ignition.
7. Start car and see if A047 returns.
