Cadillac Repair: car wont start, spark plug wires, cadillac deville

My 1991 cadillac deville won't start so i replaced the control module and it still won't start and there is no fire coming from the distributor to the spark plug wires.

did you check the computer for codes ?.

1. Ignition ON. Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons for 3 seconds and then release them. Diagnostic codes might appear and then stop.

3. Write down EXACTLY as if you were video-taping the display as the sequence is done and let me know what numbers appear.

4. When you see .7.0 appear, Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and HI buttons until you see E.0.0 appear.

5. When you see .7.0 appear, Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and LO buttons until you see F.0.0 appear.

6. Turn ignition OFF.

7. wait 30 seconds and repeat steps 1 thru 3 and see if any codes reappear.
