I have a 1984 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham that I just bought 2 weeks ago.  It's just been sitting for the past 3 years because it belonged to a lady who didn't drive anymore.  The Service Soon light comes on and pretty much stays on...I have 2 questions...What are the possible causes?....And how can I fix it?  Also...I just replaced the starter, the alternator, and the battery won't hold a charge for more than 20 minutes....and when I drive the car, I'm strictly running off the battery.  I took my new alternator in to have it tested, and they tested it 3 times, and it passed at 15.40 volts, so the alternator is good.  What else should I be looking for?

Perform this test:

1. Ignition ON. Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons on your climate control panel for 3 seconds and then release them.

You will see CODE numbers appearing and will stop at .7.0.

Write down these CODE #'s and let me know what they are.

Write them down EXACTLY as if you were video-taping them.

Turn OFF ignition.
