Questionunpluged air-ride, car level, battery dead.. this is the second motor as first overheated, the temp rose on me a few times,I figure the short stoped the cooling fans although the original owner wont give any info. (like telling me the car overheated when he sold it to me).Ive done alot of work to bring thi car back from the abuse of previouse owner ,financialy, Im almost upside down as I performed most the work myself tryin to overcome the motor and install costs, Id hate to give in over this short , going on three months now ..help.

have 94 eldorado touring, 4.9 ltr. I cannot pin down intermittent short. drains battery, no trouble codes, except memory reset. seams to affect suspension (performance increase) when active . question was rejected previously for being to long and informative.?

Possible leak in the air ride suspension. Unplug the air pump for the air ride suspension and see if the rear of the vehicle is extremly low in the back end in the morning.
AnswerThere are so many systems on the vehicle that can cause a battery drain that it would be impossible to figure out which one is causing the problem. Test the amperage draw from the battery when you are ready to park it for the night. It should not exceed .50 amps (1/2) amp.
