Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Briggs & Stratton 18.5HP Lawn Tractor, briggs stratton, carborator

Question
My mower started missing and as I increased the throttle it would cut out and start blowing black smoke.I have cleaned the carborator and overhauled it. Now it is running fine at idle speed and I can increase the throttle without it cutting out but as soon as I engage the blade it cuts out and start blowing black smoke. It continues to do this after you disengage the blade until I lower the throttle back down. I also checked the coil, magnento, and the inline fuel filter for problems but still cannot fix it.

Answer
 Hello Tony:

Send me the Make, Model, Type and Code Numbers Off of the Engine, Please. It sounds like the Carburator is Flooding the Engine when Put under a Load. The Black Smoke is a Good Indicator of Flooding. With the Engine Numbers I can View a Breakdown of the Engine and Better Assist you. Thanks.

 Respectfully

 John
