Cadillac Repair: engine overheating, coolant temperature sensor, cadillac eldorado

Question
I have a 1989 cadillac eldorado classic edition,4.5litre v-8.As soon as I start it up the engine temperature is 200 degrees. How is this possible? I already replaed the engine temperature sensor and coolant temperature sensor. both fans work if I unplug the fan signal wire from the fan control module. I also replaced coolant fan relay and ac relay. The ac clutch won't engage either. please help.

Answer
If you have a digital cluster on the dash and you unplug the engine metal temperature sender with the single green wire attached to it and ground out the wire with the ignition ON and the and the stop engine temp indicator illuminates either replace the sender, Have the cluster removed and tested or replace the cluster.
