Cadillac Repair: 96 El Dorado overheating, coolant leak, head gasket

Had blown head gasket {back} replaced.still runs hot on road within a mile.Will set an idle for ever.What are we missing?Fans are working.Thanks for any help you could give.

Try to check the cooling system for leaks, if you have coolant in the system and you smell something sweet coming from the motor there is a coolant leak somewhere, if there isnt a leak you may want to flush the colling system and  replace the thermostat and see if it solves your problem. Also running diagnostics may tell you the problem.
