Cadillac Repair: my security system wont alow my car to start, theft deterrent system, security problem

i just had a engine put in my 1997 deville and when i put the battery back in the dash lit up and it said security problem car may not b restarted,i have a aftermarket alarm on the car it turns over and cranks but it runs 4 about 15 seconds what do i do to clear this up and is there a way to bypass this system

Take it back to the shop that did the engine and tell them the problem your having, if they dont clear it up take it to who did your aftermarket alarm and have them reset the alarm system or check for a short, There is not a way to bypass this, not that i know of, the pass key system is IMO the best theft deterrent system on the planet.
