Cadillac Repair: 1995 STS air bag message, half of the time, air bag system

Is there any procedure to disable the 'service air bag system' message on the digital display. I cannot monitor the other information on the car when this comes up. It pops up about half of the time when the car is started.

See if you have any fault codes:


1. Ignition ON. Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons for 3 seconds and release them.

3. Diagnostic codes will appear and then will stop.

4. I need to knoe EXACTLY what is displayed and if they are CURRENT or HISTORY codes.
