Questionok i drove it some more and i got codes E24,F31,F41.so my coolin fans
booth quit working so i ran them to a fuse. how can i fix this?

check engine light still on . how do u adjust isc motor?

ok my 1985 deville was having idle problems on startup. i replaced the
fuel pump ,fuel filter,idle control motor and plug. so now still wont idle
on startup but as i drive smooths out drives perfect. im thinking map
sensor what do u think?

do you have a CHECK ENGINE light ON on the dash ?. Did you adjust
your ISC motor when you replaced it. ?

what diagnostic CODE are you getting from the computer ?.
First you must CLEAR (erase thye codes from the computer and see
which codes come back.
1. Ignition ON. Engine OFF.
2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons for 3
seconds and then release the buttons.
3. You will see letter and number diagnostic codes appear and then it
will stop at .7.0.
4. Write down EXACTLY what letter number combinations appear. WRITE
them down EXACTLY as if you were video taping them as I need every
letter/number combination.
5. When you see .7.0.. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and LO
buttons until you see F.0.0 appear and release the buttons.
6. The display should now show .7.0
7. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and HI buttons until you see
E.0.0 and then release the buttons.
Re-enter diagnostics and repeat steps 1 thru 4 and let me know what
letter/number codes appear.
Once I have the codes then we can proceed to fix the ISC motor.

Repeat the above sequence to clear the F31 and then shut OFF the
ignition for 10 seconds and then go drive the car for 15 minutes or more
and then see if the check engine light comes ON and recheck for codes.

F41 = Cooling fan problem at the radiator cooling fan.
Is it working correctly ?.

HOT wiring the fans causes the computer to increase the engine speed
to overcome the load of the fans.
If your going to continue to butcher the electronic systems on this
vehicle without repairing them properly you are going to have all sorts of
coming up problems.
AnswerE24 = speed sensor circuit problem.
F31 = Fuel data center/ Diesel data center to Body Control Module data problem.
F41 = Cooling fan problems.
