Cadillac Repair: hard starting, seville sls, cold car

1996 cadi Seville sls when cold car will start after repeated tries if I pump the gas pedal while cranking.When hot it starts  o k.

Answer
Do NOT pump the gas. All you are doing is exercising your foot and causing misinformation to the sensors. Do NOT touch the gas pedal at ALL when starting the vehicle HOT or COLD.

Could be an intermittent fuel pump.

have the fuel pump pressure tested.
