Cadillac Repair: 1993 cadillac, half seal, heater core

i have a 1993 Cadillac with a 4.6 motor it overheated one day and warped the half seal i was looking on line one day and saw this stuff that you put in the antifree that is suppose to seal it up im putting about a gallon of antifreeze a week and this stuff is suppose to seal up the gasket now i cant find it can you help

Hi Mike,

      I would be carefull about putting sealer inside with the antifreeze because sometimes it can cause more problems that it fixes. Like plugging the heater core or the radiator so they don't allow coolant to flow.

      You are kind of vague as to what half seal got warped. Maybe there is a better alternative than the sealer. However if you want to try it "steel seal" might have been the stuff you saw.
