Cadillac Repair: 93 ETC Cad., valve body, solenoid

Question not answered. I replaced scavenger filters, both A/
B solonoids, and car will no shift past 2nd.Every thing looks good? Can you help me?


Answer
Check the B solenoid for a short to ground on the ground wire back to the PCM.

Did you make sure that the valve worked when you removed and before you replaced the solenoid within the valve body ?.

Did you test the new solenoid prior to installation ?.
