Cadillac Repair: 93 seville bcm, obd scanner, vehicle fact

thanks for the help. how do I check why the fuel data and temp side of the dash go blank? and then then then blower goes on defroster and high speed and cant be shut off? Then the numbers sometimes come on intermitently and everything will be fine for a few minutes the suddenly it goes blank again and same thing happens also I removed the glove box and just saw the heater box no type of control box.In my repair manuel it says the 47 is data loss between bcm& ecm am I doing something wrong? my scanner is an otc enhanced 4000 thanks Steve------------------------

Hi I have a 93 seville and the temputure setting and outside numbers go blank also the fuel side does the same and then the high speed blower goes on with the service lite my obd scanner says code 47 any help would be greatly appreciated. also where is the bcm located? thanks again Steve

The BCM is behind the glove box.

Code 47 = Low refrigerant (freon).

We are both wrong on the code. I pulled the wrong year book, Sorry. There is NO BCM in this vehicle.

FACT:

1993 seville 4.9L engine. Code P047 = PCM/IPC DATA LINK PROBLEM according to the service manual.
