Cadillac Repair: 92 eldroado trans fuse, wire colors, electronis

Question
I have a 1992 Eldroado 4.9 electronis tran. I had the trans rebuilt about 3 months ago. It just started blowing the 10amp trans fuse in the engine compartment. It blows as soon as you turn the key on, don't have to start the engine. I checked what wires I could get to for bare or breaks. I unpluged the, erg switch, the trans connections I could find, the vacumn canster switch and the wire going to the power stearing pump. Any suggestions

Answer
Are you referring to the D1 fuse in the engine compartment ?.

Unplug the TCC switch electrical connector at the brake pedal ( wire colors are Pink/Black and Purple) and see if it blows.

Check the electrical harness that runs right where the trans bolts to the engine for a pinched wire.

Also check the transaxle position switch that is mounted on top of the trans where you can see your shift cable moving when you change the gear positions.

Do you have an electrical schematic ?.
