F58 is NOT a CODE.

1. Ignition ON. Engine OFF.

3. After the codes display you will see .7.0

4. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and HI buttons to clear The PCM codes and you will see E.0.0 appear. release the buttons and you will see .7.0.

I SEE PROGRESS TOM AND IM TRULY APPRECIATIVE.

Answer -
OK, Now that you have NO CODES, Are you getting spark to the spark plugs ?.

Are you getting fuel to the engine ?.

tom

im not 100% positive, but pretty certain that i'm neither getting a spark from the spark plugs and my fuel is delaying resulting in put- put sound. i sprayed starter fluid in the air exhaust, and got nothing. now the battery is drained always drained after sitting long. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP I KNOW I NEED MY PLUGS CHANGED BUT HOW DO I FIX THE FUEL PROBLEM? (100% POSITIVE IT'S NOT THE FUEL PUMP.)WHOULD THE CADILAC CONVERTER BE AN ISSUE? PLEASE HELP.

Answer
Anything can be an issue. Get the battery changed or recharged and the plugs replaced and lets see if you have ignition FIRST and then if you do have good ignition, Being VERY CAREFUL put a small amount of gas in the intake and see if it tries to start and let me know.
