Cadillac Repair: map sensor, vacuum hose, fan blower

do you have the directions on how to take the old map sensor off and put the new one on?

Question -
i have a 1987 cadilac broghham and it is litterally sucking gas out and it blows black soot out the tail pipe, it also acts like it has lost power and like it is missing really bad someone told me that it may be the map sensor where would that be located and would you have directions on how to replace it

Answer -
It is located just above and to the left of the fan blower motor and has a 3 wire electrical plug and a vacuum hose attached to it. is is a flat black square plastic device.
