Cadillac Repair: 95 STS Rough idle, vacuum hoses, seal tabs

Question
Hi Tom, I wrote to you recently about a stalling issue with my 95 STS. I did everything you said including cleaning the throttle body, checked and cleaned all applicable sensors, all electrical, fuel delivery and vacuum hoses are mint. After all that it stalled again and started to leak coolant on the passenger side right behind the radiator. I recently changed the coolant with dex-cool but I did not put the seal-tabs in so I just did so and all of the sudden no more stalling, temp went down to 199-208, and it runs mint except for a slight rough idle in drive. Do those Seal-tabs really play that important of a role or did I just get lucky? What can I do about the rough idle? Thanks for all of your help!!

Answer
These tablets are a MUST. As they seal the small expansion joints within the engine components.

You need to find out which cylinder is causing the miss and see if it is maybe just the spark plug or you have a small leak from the combustion chamber into the intake manifold due to a fault in the head gasket.
