Cadillac Repair: 98 Eldorado Climate Control, cadillac eldorado, vacuum leak

Tom - My 98 Cadillac Eldorado started having Air Conditioning problems a few months ago.  First noticed when AC would only go through Defrost vents.
A short time later - no fan under any setting.  All fuses check OK.  I am a Disabled Veteran and can not afford what the Dealership here says this repair may run.  Any information/ assistance will be more than appreciated.

AC going to the defroster vents all the time means that you have a vacuum leak somewhere on the engine. Find the small black plastic vacuum line that goes thru the firewall and check it for normal vacuum.


Which fan is not running the one for the passengers compartment or the one for the AC at the radiator ?.
