Cadillac Repair: Ground Wire, cadillac seville, mint condition

Question
Good Morning Tom
Pretty simple question that I just can't find the answer to. I have a 1988 Cadillac Seville w/65,000 original miles, 4.5LTR engine in mint condition. My only trouble is the Cooling Fan Fault light coming on. I've replaced one cooling fan motor (changing the other this weekend), the fan control module, relays, fuses, temp sensor, thermostat etc. My brother whos fairly decent with cars tells me the car ground could be dirty and effecting the fans, where might this ground be? Also, is there a fusible link I should be checking, if so, where might it be? How do you know if it needs to be replaced?
many thx
Richie

Answer
Lets check your computers for FAULT codes:

1. Ignition ON. Engine ON.

2. Simultaneously push and hold for 3 seconds the OFF and WARMER buttons and then release.

3. Fault CODES will start to appear. Write them done in the EXACT order in which they display and hopw many times they display until you see .7.0.

4. Turn OFF engine.

let me know what the codes are.
