Cadillac Repair: 1988 cadillac brougham a/c, cadillac brougham, electrical plug

Question
I have a 1988 brougham/fleetwood not sure the size of motor but the a/c worked so well and then just one day stopped the compressor still works ive replaced the blower motor to no avail. however it seems to work when it wants too sometimes you can fiddle with the control buttons, i.e. low, high, economy, and make it work but most times it doesnt do any good. the other day i parked on a steep downhill and turned the car off and five minutes later got in and it started blowing all on its own, but stopped when it started blowing really cold. ive been told it could be vacume hoses, any advice on this one?

Answer
Is your problem that the blower motor has a mind of it's own ???????.

If so, replace the power module right next to the blower motor. has a single electrical plug with about 5 or 6 wires going into the plug. and has a single large black ground wire connected to the module.
