Cadillac Repair: clearing codes, step 3, cad

Could you tell me how you clear the codes on my 92 Cad.Deville once you code it out?

Answer
To clear the PCM codes:

1. ignition ON. Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons until the whole display illuminates and release the buttons.

3. as soon as you see the codes appearing IMMEDIATELY push the OFF and HI buttons.

4. .7.0 will appear. turn ignition OFF.



To clear the BCM codes do exactly the same thing except in step # 3 push the OFF and LO buttons.
