Cadillac Repair: 1985 Cadillac Eldorado, cadillac eldorado, high beams

Question
Thanks for helping with the headlights! We found the switch and are good to go. Is the BCM the same as the power system module? I called around looking for the BCM and nobody seems to know what I am asking for and that the car does not have one. Thanks again!

Question -
Thanks for the info in the BCM! As for the headlights there is power coming from the fuse center but no power to the high beams. Would this still be a possible solution?-------------------------

Question -
Fuel Data System and Climate Control Center Information does not display while blower motor provides air(not cool) to inside of car. Occasionally, all systems function correctly.

Also, upon inspection of the safety systems required to license the vehicle we discovered that the high beam lights do not come on with the switch.

Answer -
For the first paragraph: Replace the Body Control Module (BCM).

As for the headlights check the high beam switch attached to the steering column under the dash.

Answer
Mind went dead for a moment. *5 does not have BCM. Only ECM. Problem for 85 is the power module for the blower fan. Located right next to the blower motor under the hood and has one multi wire plug into it and a large black single ground wire.

Sorry bout dat.
