Cadillac Repair: Cadillac key, gm dealer, gm dealers

Question
Where can I find someone in Houston, Texas to make a new key for my 92 Sedan Deville?

Answer
Hi Lamont, Getting new keys made should be as easy as going to any GM dealer because they all had cars that had the resistor chip in the key. Otherwise look in the phone book under locksmith and usually those people can come out and make a key for a car even if you have lost your key...but they can be rather expensive for that service. It is better if you can take a set of keys to them and have more made. If infact you have lost your keys for the car it could be cheaper to have new locks installed than haveing a locksmith make new keys.

Since Houston is such a big city I would look in the phone book under hardware stores, locksmiths, GM dealers and Cadillac in particular as well as K Mart and Wal Mart and explain what keys you need cut and see if the place closest to you can help you out. Some might not be able to do the ignition key but finding one in your area that does shouldn't be too hard.

   Hope that helps. Bill
