Cadillac Repair: 95 DeVille sensors, engine coolant, faulty sensor

Question
OK..I erased them, turned it off, then drove it five miles and they all came back...the original three messages. I went into the computer and it lists the same three, which puzzles me about the I052...since the battery's been re-connected (new battery last month) I thought erasing the message would make that one go away.

So it seems I need adjustment on the ride sensors AND it says the engine coolant is hot.Any suggestions as to what you think? Think it really is getting hot (cool radiator to touch, etc...plenty of non-hot coolant, etc)

Also, is there a good repair manual I can find? I take it Haynes won't be of much use..

Thanks again for this help!

Question -
First my "adjust ride level" message came on..on and off for a while, now all the time. Now lately I get "engine hot...idle engine...a/c compressor off" sequence but the engine does not appear to be hot. how do I know if this is a faulty sensor or the real thing? Yesterday was 94F and it got a bit toasty wih the car turning off the compresssor!

Answer -
1. Ignition ON, Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons until the whole display illuminates and release the buttons.

2.  Just watch as all the LETTER/NUMBERS that appear on the screen until it stops at PCM?.

3. when you see the PCM? push the HI button and release.

4. WAit until the display stops and reads PCM DATA?.

5. Push and release the lo button until you get to PCM CLEAR CODES?.

6. Push the HI button and the codes will all go away within 3 seconds.

7. Turn ignition OFF.

Now REPEAT the original sequence to see if any codes came back.

Answer
engine hot...idle engine...a/c compressor off: REPLACE THE TEMP SWITCH which is located near the alternator area and has a single green wire attached to it. Look hard it is well hidden.

adjust ride level": Are you referring to the automatic level control where the back end sits lower or higher than the front end ?. If so, Replace the HEIGHT SENSOR located under the car near the rear wheels.

A hayes manual is totally useless.
