Cadillac Repair: A/C, cadillac seville sls, cadillac seville

I have a 1997 Cadillac Seville sls, when ever I turn the A/C on the car turns off. If I drive over 20 mph the car will run and the A/C will blow cold. when I slow down below 20 mph to turn the car turns off. What can I do to fix this problem.

Either the AC compressor is starting to seize or the idle speed is not being raised by the vehicles computer when the AC is turned ON.

Your easiest way to find out if you have any ocodes in your computer system is to take it to any autozone parts store and they will retrieve the codes from the computer.

Write down all the codes and then have him ERASE the codes.

Drive the vehicle for a fwe days and see if the check engine light illuminates on the dash and take it back to autozone to retrieve the codes again and write them down and let me know what they are.
