Cadillac Repair: 1984 Cadillac Eldorado P/S pump, cadillac eldorado, power steering pump

I am in the middle of changing my water pump on this vehicle. 4.1 Litre V-8.  In order to completely remove all the bolts on water pump.  The power steering pump pulley must be removed.  How is this done.  The pulley has no bolts on it, just a 3/8" Hex opening in the center of the pulley.  Thanks.

You need to purchase or borrow a POWER STEERING PULLEY REMOVAL/INSTALLER tool to get the pulley off as it is pressed on the shaft.

Do NOT try and pry it off or use any type of finger style pulley remover as you WILL bend the pulley absolutely. Most auto parts stores have the tool that you need.
