It was not blow cold air temp was about 72 coming out of the vent.   the low was 75 and thehigh was 375 which they said was  to high. what would the problem be. It is a 91 caddy seville. they told me they could not get the r134a out of the compresser. or the oil   .They had put new vales on but that was not the problem so what i would like to know is  what it could be and the cost for the parts
Answer -
Not enough information.

I need the vehicles:

YEAR:1991

MAKE:cadillac

MODEL:Seville

All previous A/C repairs and what was done to the A/C recently ?.

Also, What was the ORIGINAL problem with the A/C BEFORE you had it worked on by these people ?.

I have no paper work when it was changed from r-12 to r-134a
the problem was it stopped blowing cold air on A/C they checked it out and found that both the low level was to high the gauge said 75 and the high side of the gauge was 375. they told me they could not get the r-134a out of the compresser i would like to know how it can be fixed

Answer
Not knowing how much R-134 refrigerant oil and R-134 freon they installed could be your problem or it could be an orfice tube restriction.

When they removed the R-12 freon from the system they should have added 2 ounces of R-134 refrigerant oil and 2 lbs of R-134 freon to the system AFTER they evactuated all of the air from the sytem using a vacuum pump.

Your best bet is to consult with an air conditioning specialty facility who has the equipment to properly diagnose your problem since it is most impossible for me to see what the pressure gages are reading without seeing them.
