Cadillac Repair: F32 error code 91 deville, intermittent faults, diagnostic technician

91 deville 4.9 litre.
Hi. I have code F32'PCM to BCM data malfunction'
These are the symptoms:
-Fuel Data Center reads 'd'
-Climate control reads 'd'
-problem is intermittent
-While malfunctioning, display lights on dash MAY flicker
Where are the BCM & PCM?
What else do I look for?
I've had this malfunction for 4 months now. It never seems to last for more than a day but I'm worried that I'll loose my Fuel gauge permanently.

Intermittent faults are very hard to diagnose. the D that you are receiving indicates a fault in communication between the PCM and BCM and will require some extensive diagnositic testing to resolve your problem. It may turn out to be a simple fuel gage sending unit fault in the fuel tank but without doing all the tests required this is only a guess and I hate guesses.

You will need to find a very good diagnostic technician to perform the necessary tests using the proper equipment in order to track down your problem.
