Cadillac Repair: Catylitic Convrter, volume loss, system failure

Question
What causes a caytilitic converter to go bad because this is my second converter in a month. I have a 91 sedan deville and my converter was glowing orange. What is causing this. This isn't normal isn't.

A massive abnormal air to fuel ratio in the exhaust system.

Is or has the CHECK ENGINE light EVER come ON in the dash and if so, What work was performed ?.

In MOST cases this is caused by a COOLANT SENSOR failure, an emissions system failure, a fuel pressure/volume loss or a fault in the INJECTOR DRIVERS inside of the vehicles computer.

In 8 out of 10 cases when the cat gets red hot the cause was traced to faulty FUEL INJECTOR DRIVERS in the vehicles computer and replacement of the computer resolved the problem.

You will have to replact the cat again.
