Cadillac Repair: cadillac 98/catera, oil psi light, oil pressure switch, pressure gage

Question
when engine get hot oil psi lights up, Oil PSI is reading about 15, engine has 51,000 miles, Car is not driven hard.
Can this be bad oil or sending switch problem?

Vehicle could be LOW on oil. Check dipstick level.

Could be faulty OIL PRESSURE SWITCH.

Could be faulty oil gage/light.

Could be an internal engine problem.

This needs to be diagnosed IMMEDIATELY and I STRONGLY suggest that you DO NOT drive the vehicle until you can get someone to verify the oil pressure via and external oil pressure gage OR you can DESTROY the engine if the fault is within the engine.

Do NOT even START the engine until you get it diagnosed professionally.
