I added oil to my 1997 cadillac seville sts ,but the change engine oil light still comes on.The oil is still ruby red. when I drive on an incline, which is 1/4 of the way home. I live in mount pocono,which is mpuntainous. When I drive up hill the car over heats, engine idle ,stop engine light comes on. I put coolant in the radiator and the coolant tank.the car still overheats. I took it for diagnostic tsting at a repair shop(not cadillac) they said,'EVERYTHING WAS OK.PLEASE HELP p.s please acept my appologies for not checking my spelling and gramactical errors.

Please have someone help you with these questions and provide more information.

I just don't have enough DETAILED information and or the correct terminology or the past repair history of the vehicle in order to help you.
Take it to a Cadillac dealer so they can physically see what the problems are.
