Cadillac Repair: Engine surge, vacuum line, mechanical work

Question
I have a 94 STS when the car is first started, I will back up, put it into drive and start to accelerate and the speedometer and tachometer gauges start going crazy, the radio shuts off and the fuel gage reverts to low and the air conditioning turns on.  The car some times stalls other times not. Then I drive with no problem, even with stop and start traffic.  This happed every once in a while.  The problem has occurred the last two days, with a new twist.  It happens, and then everything is fine until I get to work. As I head down the parking garage ramp, the gages go crazy until I drive to my spot.  The sensor information blinks Service Ride Control.

Answer
What mechanical work or ANY kind of work has been performed on the vehicle recently ?. As most problems that occur after a recent repair was made can be traced back to the area of where the repair was made as a vacuum line may have been knocked loose or a wire connection came loose, Look around in the area where work was performed.
